The Marina Podgora is located on the Croatian mainland, southeast of Makarska, and is open all year. The marina, with a total of 220 moorings, is protected from winds by a long breakwater. Facilities include free water and electricity and the marina is equipped with a crane. The village of Podgora has freshwater springs, several watchtowers, formerly erected as protection against the Turks, they are preserved and there is also an old Baroque parish church.
