Things to do in Saint Lucy
Located in the north of the island of Barbados in the Caribbean Sea, it has a pleasant tropical climate all year round, and therefore, a rainy season from June to October. Although it may seem that, because of this, Saint Lucy is susceptible to storms or hurricanes in the course of that season, this is far from reality. The average hurricane is once every 26 years, so the place becomes an ideal nautical destination for boats in any season. The west coast is popular for its clear waters and pink color of its stunning beaches.
For surfing, it is better to navigate to the east coast, bathed by the Atlantic Ocean and the most favorable winds. It has many wildlife reserves and among its tourist services, we find underwater fishing, exploring caves or water sports. You can also practice other sports like golf or go on a sightseeing tour by a helicopter. Do not forget to arrange a visit to the Animal Flower Cave and Mount Gay Rum Distillery as well as the impressive Blowhole (marine geyser), on the coast of Saint Lucy.
