Anchorage Aracajú (Aracaju, Sergipe)

Attractions à Sergipe

In the capital, Aracaju, located on the coast, we find most of tourist attractions, such as Atalaia Beach, where you can do various water sports, or get to know the Río San Francisco by catamaran. The city is modern, with large streets and contemporary architecture.

Sergipe is the smallest state in Brazil, however it posses 173 miles of beaches and mangroves, among which New Atalaia beach stands out, located on the island of Santa Luzia (which is also home to nearly untouched Puerto Grande,) or Abaís beach, with medium sized waves and crystal warm waters and completely different Caueira beach, which has strong waves and dark waters. Pirambu beach also has strong waves, with some of its 40 miles of beaches remained pristine and almost deserted and with mild water temperature. It is located in the Santa Isabel Biological Reserve, so you cannot tie up your boat there; however, you can anchor in a small inlet in the north.
