To the east of the river Var, we find spectacular Monaco, the heart of the Riviera. It enjoys an excellent Mediterranean climate, along more than 4,100 meters of its coastline, mild and sunny throughout the year, with an average temperature between 8 º C in winter and 29 º in summer. No wonder it became a world famous seaside tourist resort.

The marinas also enjoy international reputation, such as Port Hercule (or old port), located in a natural bay and protected with the concrete breakwater, which was expanded a few years ago to meet the needs of the recreational crafts, or the Port of Fontvieille (or new port), built on the land reclaimed from the sea.

Both are very exclusive and with long waiting lists, so we recommend making a reservation in advance. Access is easy thanks to its deep waters, but it can be hindered thanks to easterly winds. Monaco hosts the Monaco Yacht Show as well as the Monaco Grand Prix, one of the most important and prestigious automobile races in the world. Captains may continue their journey along the coast to approach other exclusive locations of the French Riviera such as Saint Tropez, Cannes and Monte Carlo, center of the famous film festival. The Principality of Monaco is undoubtedly one of the most exclusive nautical destinations of the Mediterranean.
