The Slip Bight Marina is strategically built in the protected water of McMillian Straits. The East Gippsland Shire Council operates the marina on behalf of the community under the Committee of Management of the Department of Sustainaibility & Environment. The town of Paynesville provides restaurants, shops and boating services such as fuelling & pumpout facilities, boat ramp & slip yards and a host of quality marine contractors for boat services.
